Sex offender sues Long Beach for right to live near schools, parks, day care centers

A San Luis Obispo County man is suing the city of Long Beach over restrictions that he says make it impossible to move to or even visit the area.

Frank Lindsay says in legal papers that a 2008 ordinance prevents him and other registered sex offenders from living, either temporarily or permanently, in much of the city. Full Article

Many HOMELESS registered Americans in San Diego are not having a Happy Thanks given day being San Diego CA. is the only city on the entire west cost where registered Americans are not allowed in homeless shelters -they run the risk of being arrested attempting to eat a thanks given meal at a homeless shelters due to Jessica’s law. which the homeless shelters enforce. Don’t believe it/ Walk into Father Joe’s-say your a registered Americans-see how fast you are asked to leave-or the cops will be called.

Well, I thought this whole issue was pre-empted by state law. Cities and counties must stay out of it.

I hear you brother. I was homeless in San Diego. And Father Joes never did a thing for me. I had more help from the salvation army place.
